- Served as a Hearings Representative representing Texas Mutual Insurance Company's interests at mediation conferences at the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation (TDI-DWC)
- Served as a senior-level Ombudsman at the Office of Injured Employee Counsel assisting unrepresented injured employees with their occupational accident claim disputes, presenting arguments and the case-in-chief before the TDI-DWC Administrative Law Judges
- Served as legal assistant to two board-certified workers’ compensation attorneys at a member of the International Society of Primerus law firms in Dallas, TX, proofread legal documents and outgoing correspondence, acted as an interpreter during deposition preparation appointments, prepared exchanges and exhibits as well as subpoenas and motions for submittal to TDI-DWC and opposing counsel
- Served as head paralegal for a Criminal Defense attorney at a law firm in Richardson, TX, interpreted for Spanish-speaking clients during plea agreements for misdemeanor cases at the Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Denton County courts, assisted clients who did not understand English with filling out Pre-Trial Diversion and Community Supervision & Corrections Department (CSCD) paperwork
